Asma Maryam Ali
Asma’s the Founder and Director of Maristan, the online portal Therapy Aids and of Concentric Care, a psychotherapy practice established in 2013.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP, Ontario, Canada), Asma sees clients in a clinical setting for mental and emotional distress, relationship challenges and inner obstacles to growth. She holds an M.A. in Counselling Psychology.
Asma’s also a Licensed Islamic Professional Counsellor (LIPC) with the British Islamic Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (BIPCA). She incorporates Islamic psychotherapy in Maristan programs and in individual clinical work for those who request it.
Asma also holds a B.A., B.Ed., and an M.A. in Education and is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT, Retired).
She has a Second Dan Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.

Tariq Mahmood
Tariq is the Founder and Director of Andalucian Routes, also known as Halal Getaways. When Tariq visited Spain for the first time over 25 years ago, he discovered the Islamic legacy there and realized that Islam had a long and rich history in the West that was under-recognized.
Then a businessman in England, Tariq founded Andalucian Routes in Spain with the hopes of enlightening the world about the legacy of Islam in the West. Since then, thousands of people have gone on his tours and have been blown away by their experiences, leaving Spain with stronger faith, more confident about their religious identity, and inspired to do more good.
